Welcome to Worcester School of Rock & Performance...
A School of Rock where you can join a band or join with your band to learn performance skills, with group instrumental lessons, experienced tutors and practice rooms with a mini P.A.'s. WSRP is for anyone who can Sing or play Guitar, Drums, Bass, Keyboards and other instruments. You will get to perform with your band at the end of each term with other performance opportunities during the year.

WSRP workshop at the Hive, the new Worcester Library :-
On Saturday April 28th 2012 we have been invited by the Worcester Music Festival organisers to run a wsrp workshop at the Hive from 4pm - 6pm.Its ideal for anyone who wants to have a sneek preview of the Library, meet the WSRP staff and have a chance to try drums, guitar, bass or vocals, tolearn a song and be in a band.
We also have great news for August.
WSRP is hosting a Stage at Malvern Rocks , a brand new summer festival for this year. We are hosting the stage at the Malvern Youth and Community Centre from 1pm until 6pm on 4th and 5th of August 2012. It will be a fun weekend and very family friendly!
The WSRP Spring Term Shows on Sunday March 25th at Bishop Perowne College Theatre were a great success. Loads of memorable moments. Thanks to all bands who took part. Have a nice holiday! See you next term!

The WSRP Christmas Show 2011 was a great success! The Juniors and Senior Shows were outstanding! The December 4th, Junior Show 12.30pm and Senior show 5.30pm at Bishop Perowne College Theatre Worcester, gave the audience a worthwhile nightout with great performances of music by WSRP students!

Thanks very much to our Drum tutor Lee Evans for doing a great drum clinic on November 5th.
There will be more free clinics and workshops for drums, vocals, guitar and bass in the future.
New to this term for Drummers wanting to join WSRP!
We have Drum kits available for any drummers who have lessons at school who may not have their own kit yet. You will be able to join a band and there will be a kit for you! The kits have already come in handy this term for Junior and Senior bands!
We have 2 sessions on Saturday mornings. 9am until 10am for the Juniors( 8 to 13 year olds), 10am until 1pm for the Seniors (13 -18year olds) and Adults ( over 18's)
WSRP takes place on Saturday mornings throughout the year for 3 terms and 10 weeks per term. (Scroll down for more info)
Students aged 8 to adult who attend have the chance to perform at the end of each term and at other live music events and venues!
We also have a Summer School that runs for 5 days in August, with a concert at the end of the week.
Also in 2011 the WSRP ROCK SHOP opened its doors for the first time at the Elgar School of Music during the Worcester Music Festival 2011! Rock shop will be popping up now and again in the Worcestershire area. For more details click here

The Worcester Music festival WSRP showcase at the Marrs bar 21st August 2011 was another great success, thanks to the WMF for letting us perform at the festival again, to all those who took part and the staff for their help.
The WSRP Summer School 2011 ran from August 8th to August 12th with a Show on the 13th. The Show was Great and the 6 Senior Bands and the Junior band all worked really hard. They are the future of Worcester music scene and all under the age of 16! Look below for pictures of the show. Thanks to everyone for supporting us and attending the classes.

Bands who attended WSRP perform up to 3 times a year at our end of term shows and there may be other performance opportunities during the year! If students also attend the Summer School, normally in August, they will get to perform again.
5 bands and individual musicians attending wsrp, have recorded demos too! We would like all of our bands to write their own material, if possible.
