Age for Senior WSRP: 13 to 18yrs.

Runs Saturdays 10am - 1pm for 10 weeks during term time.

Fortnightly instrumental lessons for the first hour and band coaching / practice time for the rest of the time leading towards the show. Bands generally work on developing 1 to 3 songs for possible inclusion in the show. A 'sorting' procedure takes place on the first day where like-minded students are placed together in bands. Somehow it usually works!

We generally have between 40 and 50 students attending the Senior part of WSRP. Some of our students have been with us for a long time, but of course many are also new. Click here to see what some of them think of WSRP.

Generally speaking our Seniors are comprised of vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers and keyboard players although we have had sax players and other instrumentalists in the past.

Please note that students at WSRP are expected to bring their own equipment. So bassists, guitarists, drummers and keyboard players need to remember to bring all their bits and pieces with them each Saturday.
